I never realized the extraordinary services connected to providing a safe home environment for my mom until she needed assistance. Although my dad was in the home, he is an elder too and their decision making is not as sharp as it used to be. I was not prepared nor experienced with the available resources to allow my parents to remain safely in their home. I have a demanding, high stress level job. I work long hours and I was not abreast with medical appointments that needed to be scheduled and follow up appointments that were being missed and that Home Care services had not started and that medical equipment had not been delivered and medications was not called in and the list goes on and on. When I became aware of this Coordination Service, I took advantage of the opportunity. The cost is well worth the peace that I feel and the joy of seeing my parents being together at home with their needs met. I unequivocally recommend these services. My mom and dad can focus on enjoying their time together and not the details of managing their care.
